Choice Adoptions is a leading advocacy and adoption agency in the Pacific Northwest, serving moms, babies and families in Seattle, Portland, Bend and beyond! The purpose and passion of Choice is to provide love and support in a time of crisis pregnancy or parenting. We know that every parent has a unique story, and if you find yourself expecting or parenting, but know you can’t do it alone- please know that we are here for you. We believe there are alternatives to foster care and will support and advocate for you as you make the decisions that are best for you and your baby.
One of our favorite birth mamas, Kaitlin, shared her story recently on our blog. We first connected with her in Seattle, where she had discovered her pregnancy and was feeling, in her own words, “terrified.” Discovering a pregnancy can cause all kinds of emotions, including feeling isolated. Kaitlin shared that “I felt very alone all throughout my pregnancy until I met my advocate at Choice.” The incredible women on our staff at Choice who advocate for birth mothers came alongside Kaitlin to support her in the big things (like being with her when she was delivering her baby) and the little things (like sharing a lasagna recipe)!
Kaitlin’s story is just one of many beautiful journeys in the Seattle area that Choice has been a part of. At our agency, there’s no pressure or guilt, just love and support. We love moms of all shapes and stories, from all backgrounds, no matter what.
We love moms. We love pregnant moms. We love worried moms. We love anxious moms. We love moms who feel like they’re out of options. We love moms who are making big choices. If you’re a mom, and need someone to come along side and support you, we’re here for YOU! — Choice Adoptions (@ChoiceAdoptions) March 28, 2019
If you or a loved one are experiencing a crisis pregnancy or crisis parenthood in Seattle or anywhere across the Pacific Northwest, please know that we are here to connect with you at any time. Our team is personal, caring and will go above and beyond to ensure that you and your baby are cared for deeply. You don’t have to go at this alone. As our director, Gayle Fidanzo, put it, “We believe everyone needs help from time to time. We also believe that when we reach out to help others, all that love comes back and changes the way we think about the world. That love and sense of community raises our ability to love others right where they are.”
