Mother’s Day brings up different emotions in each of us. For some, it’s a day of celebration and thanking our mothers for all they’ve done for us. For others it’s a day of pain: perhaps because of a lost relationship, a mother who’s passed away or something more. And for anyone who has ever been a mother, it evokes a whole new category of emotions.
The 2016 film, Mother’s Day, starring Jennifer Aniston, Kate Hudson, and Julia Roberts isn’t exactly award-worthy, but brings to life what a wonderful and messy reality being a mother can be, especially on this holiday. The film explores three generations of mothers: one who is going through a divorce, one who is reflecting on her child who was adopted and another who is expecting. Maybe you can relate to one of those.
If you’re reading this with the recent discovery that you’re pregnant and expecting a child, you’re experiencing Mother’s Day in a whole new light. Pregnancy can be scary and isolating at times, and we never want you to be alone. At Choice Adoptions, we seek to support mothers in any and every way we can.
We love moms. We love pregnant moms. We love worried moms. We love anxious moms. We love moms who feel like they’re out of options. We love moms who are making big choices. If you’re a mom, and need someone to come along side and support you, we’re here for YOU! — Choice Adoptions (@ChoiceAdoptions) March 28, 2019
Our desire is to love mothers and help them see all of the available choices on their journey. We are not just an adoption agency, but an advocacy agency, where we will provide an advocate for you at no cost, to be a confidential resource. There’s no obligation or pressure and we will be here for you no matter what decision you choose between parenting, adoption or abortion.
From day one, we want you to know that if “adoption is not right for you, it’s not right for you. We still care. Maybe you just need a safe place to go through the pros and cons, or help telling your family. Whatever it is, we have your back and promise to help as much as we can. We believe that you have the right to decide what your future looks like and the future of your baby.”
